Old School is a painting of the Boston pencil sharpener that was in my grandparents' kitchen. They always had plenty of paper and pencils on hand for me to do my "illustrations" of books I read. The pencils are two of my art pencils, a college pencil used by one of my sons, and the old reliable no. 2 that symbolizes our homeschooling days, all pencils it has sharpened over the years. The glass bottle is from Wengert's Dairy that delivered milk to our home when I was growing up. Big trip down memory lane for me with this one!
