Brief Encounter

I placed a feeder on the ground under our porch because the snow that was falling quickly covered the food.  We do have warblers visit us infrequently during the winter, but this was the first pine warbler I had ever seen.  He was there only briefly, but it was a magical moment for me.  All was softness and diffused light and he was beautiful.
